Summer Loving

Nivea Deep Tanning Oil Spray is my summer MUST-HAVE. I honestly don’t know what I did before I discovered it. Okay, I actually do know, I used like SPF 30, never got the perfect tan and my skin was always too dry in summer. Then, this little beauty came into my life and we’ve been in a very serious (seasonal) relationship ever since.

One of my most vivid memories of summer, sun and beach holidays is Michelle trying to COVER me in SPF 50 or something crazy. This Nivea tanning oil has SPF 6, and because it’s an oil it keeps your skin super hydrated and moisturized. I love the way my skin feels when I’ve used the Nivea tanning oil, just so silky smooth.

You can buy the Nivea tanning oil at Dischem for R64.95, BARGAIN! Summer is approaching quickly (but not quickly enough in my opinion), I totally recommend this product as a must-have for the beach. If you’ve used it before, please let us know what you think of it.

Nivea’s tanning oil is also water resistant (so they say), but to be safe I always (mostly) reapply after I’ve been in the sea or the pool, just in case. I’d also advise that you don’t use the tanning oil on your face, rather use something with a higher SPF. I really like Nivea’s anti-aging face cream SPF 30, which you can also get from Dischem for R78.95.

WARNING: if you have skin that is sensitive to the sun, and you know that you burn very easily, do NOT use this product. It only has SPF 6, which I find is fine for me, but is not great for everyone. Know you skin and what SPF you should be using. If you’re a bit more Irish, or a redhead – see Michelle’s post on how to be a redhead.
