LUSH Oatifix Mask

I love LUSH, ok not as much as Michelle loves LUSH, but almost. Got my hands on this LUSH Oatifix face mask I couldn’t wait to try it out. It had a very interesting texture, I’m not too familiar with facemasks that have a slight exfoliating texture so I was pretty excited to get this shizz on my face.

It smells so delicious and it’s almost like you can eat it straight out of the tub. Yum, oats! Β You’re meant to keep these facemasks in the fridge because they are THAT fresh and they contain ZERO preservatives (I mean, what more did you expect from LUSH?). Because of this, I suggest taking it out of the fridge an hour or two before you’re planning to use it so that it’s not too cold on your face.

Now you get to see some a rather interesting photo of my face covered in LUSH Oatifix, you guys owe me!

LUSH Oatifix feels amazing on your skin, I will admit it feels a tiny bit strange putting what feels and smells like food on your face. Once you get over that, it’s a very nice experience. Β This face mask also contains banana which softens and moisturises your skin, winning. Because of the consistency, it’s not the easiest mask to put on your face, and it doesn’t dry out either.

To remove the mask I used some warm water and circular movements, which added to the exfoliating. My skin felt so soft afterwards, absolutely perfect.

Love, LUSH products and beautiful smooth skin,

Jess

  1. If you like the yummy smelling ones have you tried cupcake? Or the Let The Good Times Roll face and body scrub? Oh my word I really do wish they would make a version I could eat!

    1. Oooh I need the scrub! I’ve used Oatifix and Catastrophe Cosmetic, which I absolutely love. Clears up my skin almost instantly, it’s amazing.

    2. Aw the Cape Town stores need to get on the face and body scrub! :P Every time I used Cupcake my little daschund cross would try to lick it off my face. Cheeky bugger.
