Today we awoke to mourn the loss of our father, Mr Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, a man encompassing humility, compassion and the epitome of reconciliation and love.
We were all born in 1989, a year before his release from Robben Island. Our parents fought during the struggle with Madiba the symbol of their hope for a free South Africa. We were raised to respect, love and accept everyone regardless of their race, religion, gender, culture and nationality. For that, we thank Tata Madiba for allowing us to know only love in our hearts.
