A little bit of Clinique is all I need

Ladies and gentlemen, this is Mambo No. 5!
A little bit of Monica in my life
A little bit of Erica by my side
A little bit of Clinique is all I need*

Heyyyyy all of you lovely people! Sorry that I’ve been a bit quiet on Smudged recently – been away and crazy busy at work but now I’m baaaaaaack. I’m chatting about skin care today, which is something I don’t often talk about. I got a couple of goodies from Clinique a while back and I will admit that I was a little scared because I’ve heard some not-so-great things about Clinique in the past, but I was willing to give these a try.

Clinque-stuff

I tried to rinse off foaming cleanser first, and I wasn’t too impressed. My skin felt really tight and dry after using it. I don’t have very sensitive/dry skin, but this cleanser did not do it for me at all. A couple of my friends tried it and I got some similar responses. Although, it seemed to be fine for people who had oilier skin. You can go here to find out more about this product, it is R250 from Clinique.

The moisture surge gel BLEW MY MIND. I mean really, I do not know how I’m going to continue living my life without it. The gel formula is incredible, it moisturises my skin perfectly without it feeling too greasy or oily (which is one of my pet hates).

The moisture surge gel has really changed my skin, and I’ve found that I’m leaving the house without my beloved BB cream on more and more. Big thanks to Clinique who sent me the real size version of the incredible moisture surge – my skin is so happy. You can get your hands on Moisture Surge here for R465.

I also got my hands on the Clinique 3 Step, which I’ll be reviewing on the blog very soon because I can honestly say that it has changed my skin.

Have you ever tried Clinique? Do you use any of their products? Let me know what you think.

Love, happy skin and all the moisture!

Jess

* I may or may not have had this song stuck in my head all week long, I’m going crazy!
