September Favourites

So here we are again, it’s Monday, and the thought of actually starting to get through the huge pile of work on your desk is just a bit too much to handle right now… don’t fear! Smudged is here to distract you (and ensure that you look busy in case the boss happens to walk past!)

Today I’m going to tell all of you lovely people about my September favourites, (I know its not the end of the month yet, but I’ve been using these products for a while now and they deserve a little bit of attention on the blog you know)

TRESemme 24 Hour Body Finishing Spray

This product is one of my September favourites because I was completely surprised by it – I thought it was going to be more like a hair spray, and make my hair feel like I sprayed gel all over it. Suprisingly, my hair felt nothing like that. This finishing spray somehow managed to give my hair body and ‘bounce’ that lasted THE ENTIRE DAY. That’s right ladies, the whole freaking day. Perfect for those special occasions!

TRESemme says “This volumising spray provides the perfect touchable hold ā€“ and keeps your hair protected in even the fiercest humidity” and it really does what they say! You can get your hands on this baby at any Clicks stores for R69.95.

Lee Stafford Frizz Off

This product is obviously made from liquid gold and unicorn tears. Or something else equally incredible. This product does so many things for my hair:

  • de-frizzes
  • straightens
  • moisturises
  • heat damage protection
  • strengthens

I AM OBSESSED! I use this product every time I wash my hair. I spray it on to my towel-dried hair, then I blow dry it and MY GOD it makes a difference. My hair is smoother and straighter within minutes. (ALSO: sometimes I use it without blow drying and it still makes my hair a bit smoother and straighter – amazing!

Zambuk

This little baby is a product that my gran used to be crazy about – and she passed this on to me. You can get your hands on Zam-buk at most pharmacies, Dischem sells this big one for R32.95

Zam-buk is one of those miracle products (and a lot cheaper than Elizabeth Arden 8 hour cream!). I use Zam-buk for just about everything:

  • dry lips
  • insect bits
  • patches of dry skin
  • cuticle cream

The list can go on and on!

Zam-buk have also recently come out with little tubs of lip balm – they have a strawberry flavour that smells delicious and has all the same amazing qualities of Zam-buk.

Sooooo, those are my three favourite products for September. Let me know which products you’re loving at the moment!

Love, cuddles and procrastination
