Just 15 more sleeps until Christmas! Hope you’ve got all your wrapping paper and washi tape ready – let’s go!
I always find buying presents for my besties a little tricky because I want to get them something really amazing that blows their mind and shows them how much they mean to me, but I’ve come to realise that Christmas presents aren’t really meant for that and you can just buy your bestie something that you know they will like.
Here are some ideas for you – I know my besties would love these beauties. Because we all have a lot of people we want to share the Christmas cheer with, we’re all on a budget, all of these goodies are under R250.
(I’ll be honest, while I was browsing some of the online shops looking for gift ideas I’ve seen a lot of gift sets for beauty brands that are under R250, but they all include some weird piece of jewellery that I am just not into!)
Michelle actually bought me this a few years ago in England (before it was available here) and I still think it’s one of the best drug store mascaras out there.
Hair Chalk (R189)
Oh my goodness – HAIR CHALK. This is a perfect present for your bestie (like I hope my bestie buys it for me) I would say it’s better for your friends with lighter hair colours, as it will be easier to see the colours in the hair. This pack has 12 different colours – let the fun begin!
Gift packs from LUSH (R200 – R300)
I found two options from LUSH that would be lovely for your bestie.
1. Snowtime R235
2. The night before Christmas R225
Kabuki brush (R185)
Because every girl needs one of these, and I’m quite a fan of the one from The Body Shop. Your bestie will love you for this, trust me. (But first check that she doesn’t have one already!)
This is perfect for summer – give your bestie some shimmer! (HINT HINT to my besties – I would love this!) I think that is how I shop for my besties actually, I try to give things that I buy things that I know I would love – but of course I still keep the person I’m buying for in mind.
Let me know what you’re buying your besties for Christmas!
Love, Christmas cheer and gin!
