Hope you’re all keeping warm and happy in this cold Cape Town weather. (Quick shout out to our international readers who are experiencing summer at the moment – we’re jealous!)
Another month has passed (can you believe it?) and we’re back with another favourites post.
Eau Thermale Avene Soothing Moisture Mask
My skin is absolutely loving this face mask at the moment. For some reason I’m going through a bit of a dry skin patch and this baby is really sorting me out. It leaves my skin feeling super hydrated and not oily at all (winning). It also calms down some of the redness that I’ve got going on. Thanks Avene – keep at it! – Jess
Rimmel Wake Me Up Mascara
I am loving this mascara from Rimmel this month, and I can honestly tell you that it’s been a while since I’ve ventured to Rimmel for mascara. For the last while I’ve relied heavily on some Maybelline mascara, and my absolute favourite from Bare Minerals, but my Maybelline baby was coming to an end so I decided to try something new. The brush is great, application is super, and I find it lasts all day in the office – longer than my Maybelline Falsies one did. Pick this up from your nearest Clicks store and you won’t be disappointed. – Jess
Yardley Stayfast Liquid Matte Lip Vinyl in Femme Fatale
Guys, this is it. Call off the search, make your way to the Yardley counter and pick up one of their Liquid Matte Lip Vinyls in the shade Femme Fatale and awe in wonder. I haven’t been this excited about a make-up product in a long time, but this has me lovingly looking at it all day long. It is the PERFECT winter shade, not too berry, not too warm and just dark enough. It’s perfect, it’s matte, it’s long wearing and doesn’t break the bank. – Beth
Sally Hansen Velvet texture nail polish in Lavish
Along with the perfect lip colour, here is your perfect nail colour! We were recently sent this velvet range from Sally Hansen and I must say I am besotted with the colour Lavish. It’s a matte, merlot/burgandy colour that matches Femme Fatal to the T! Side note* It chips fasters with more layers. – Beth
Wet and Wild Colour Icon Glitter Single in Brass
I’ve been searching high and low for the NYX loose gold glitter and came across the Wet and Wild one instead. It’s a cream glitter eye shadow with a clear base and is actually heaps easier to apply because there is no fall out and the glitter actually sticks to your lid because of the base. Annnnd it costs less than a happy meal. – Beth
And that’s what we’ve been loving this month! Let us know what your favourites are at the moment, or if you’ve tried any of the products we’ve mentioned. We love hearing from you.
