So it’s already August, and I feel like this year is absolutely flying by. GOSH. Ok, we’re a tiny bit late with this one, but here are our favourite beauty products for July.
Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick – shade Coral Britannia
This is my go to colour when I just need a quick and easy lipstick that I don’t have to worry about fading. I recently wrote a review on these guys and this shade has to be my favourite of the lot. It’s creamy, sheer and a nice coral shade that works well with my natural lip colour – Beth
Since Benefit has again graced us with their products I thought I should give my Hoola bronzer a shout out since since I have been using it in a different way recently. I purchased mine in 2013 when I was overseas and although I wasn’t blown away by it then, since it was such a hyped product, I have been converted. It is the perfect combination of cool and warm and works very well for fair skinned gals and guys to warm up the face and to create a natural contour. I’ve been using mine as a transition shade when I create a warm smokey eye since I don’t own any orange based matte eyeshadows and it’s been working perfectly :) – Beth
MAC Face and Body Foundation
So I’m back on the MAC foundation train and recently took out an old sample I have of MAC’s face and body foundation but this time round I have really, really been digging it. I only wear BB cream during the day as it is undetectable in natural light, however, I blow through that stuff so quickly and when it rains… game over. This foundation is water-based so it’s light, dewy and doesn’t absorb into my skin like my BB cream does come 2pm. I think it’s a great office appropriate foundation – Beth
Dove Intense Repair Treatment Mask
As you guys all know, I’m a natural brunette that has been peroxiding my hair blonde for over two years now. (So those of you wondering, blondes have the same amount of fun. Fun doesn’t depend on the colour of your hair). Anyway, because of this my hair needs all the loving it can get and I find that this treatment really does give it a lot of love without leaving it feeling oily. And BONUS – you can pick up this baby from any Clicks store! – Jess
Yardley StayFast Lipstick in Spiced Raisin
Ok – Beth can vouch for me here, but I don’t usually wear lipstick, and especially not a dark shade. Buuut this lipstick has totally converted me. I’m wearing it EVEN DURING THE DAY – can you believe it? It lasts super well, and if I want to make it even darker I just layer it with some of my MAC Red. Guys, this colour is a winner for winter.
