October Empties

Hello lovely people!

Hope you’re having a great Monday and really showing today who’s boss.  I’ve got a little sneaky empties post for you – here are the products that I finished off this month:

batiste dry shampoo, LUSH marilyn hair mask,

LUSH’s Marilyn Hair Treatment

I’ve blogged about this pre-wash hair treatment a few times now, but you can read the review of it here. I keep on repurchasing this hair treatment for many reasons:

  • I liiiiive for the smell of this hair treatment
  • It leaves my hair silky smooth
  • It makes my hair even blonder than it was before

So yeah, I will definitely re-buy this, without a doubt. And if you’re a fake blonde, you should buy it too.

Batiste Dry Shampoo in Original

This is my go-to, the product that I will always pack when travelling, and that saves my life at least 3 times a week. I always buy my next bottle before the last one is even finished because I rely on it that much. So, in summary, yes I have already re-bought this, and I will continue to do so FOREVER. (or until you show me a dry shampoo that works this well and isn’t R1 million)

Clicks Skincare Collection Aloe Vera Refreshing Toner

I’ve been using this calming toner for a while now, think this might be my third bottle. I use it for a bit of everything; taking off make-up, toning, refreshing, waking myself up in the morning, etc. I’m not going to re-buy this instantly as I’m very busy and pre-occupied with my Garnier Micellar Water (obsessed) so I might wait until I’ve finished that before I re-buy this toner. But, as far as the toner is concerned, it’s super affordable, calming and does exactly what it says it will do.

Lee Stafford Spray Shine

If you’ve got fake blonde hair, you’ll know that it’s not naturally shiny, it’s dry and dull. Because of this, sometimes you need to give yourself a bit of ooomph to get that glow on. I bought this mini Lee Stafford Spray Shine to try it out before committing to the full bottle, and was very happy with it. I only wish is that Lee Stafford made the Argan Oil Spray in a mini bottle too so that I could compare these two. Honestly, I love the smell and the shine that this gives my hair, so I will be dropping this into my basket the next time I’m having a binge at Clicks.

Yardley Illuminating Primer

I really did enjoy this primer from Yardley, and found that it did give my skin some radiance. I used it mainly during the week, under my BB cream. Before re-buying this, I’d like to try some of the other drugstore primers out there, including a couple from Yardley, the colour correcting one also looks pretty good. Because I’ve got quite a bit of redness going on, at the moment I’m sticking with my Catrice Prime & Fine Anti Red Base primer.

Anyway, that’s all of the products I’ve used up lately.

What products are you loving at the moment and which ones do you find yourself constantly re-buying?

Love, blonde hair and salty skin.
