DIY coffee scrub

Helloooooo.

Yes, I know it’s been ages since we’ve posted, let’s just skip over that very quickly and pretend that it never happened so I can get straight into telling you how to make this super easy coffee scrub.

I’m sure you’ve seen coffee scrubs all over instagram, being endorsed by various insta-celebs, but guuuuuys it’s so easy to make this yourself, don’t spend any money on this (spend your money on champers instead to celebrate how fabulous you’re looking and feeling after using this coffee scrub).

All you need for this coffee scrub is:

  • coffee grounds
  • sugar
  • coconut oil

I steal coffee grounds from our office coffee machine, but you can’t get these from wherever you like. I also like to use brown sugar (but you can pick yours). It’s super simple, I just mix 60% coffee grounds, 40% brown sugar, and then add in a couple of teaspoons of coconut oil. Give it a mix and store it in a sealable container in your shower. WINNING. After you’ve made it a couple of times you can experiment with your ratios and anything else you want to add in.

I LOVE how my skin feels after using this, and it’s a new budget-friendly staple in my shower.

Let me know if you give it a try.

Love,

Jess

  1. […] Yes, it’s another scrub, but it’s so super easy to make, and a nice alternative for that coffee lover in your life. Find out how to make this scrub in our post here. […]

  2. This is great, given I drink lots of coffee in a day.. do they have to be new coffee grounds or would used one work as well?

    1. I use only used coffee grounds :) it works perfectly!
