The Body Shop – Drops of Youth

So I’ll cut straight to the chase, lately, I’ve been concerned about the fine lines around my eyes, crows feet, or whatever you want to call them. I woke up one morning, looked in the mirror and I was like “where the ffff did those things come from?” It wasn’t a great day. Since then, I’ve been trialling some products that are promising to make me look younger (I mean, maybe a few days younger) and I’ve also just tried to include some anti-ageing things into my normal skincare routine. That’s where this post comes in. I picked up these two Body Shop babies a few months ago (they were on sale – I think because they have the old branding?)

The Body Shop Drops of Youth

I’ve been using the Drops of Youth eye concentrate every morning and evening, sometimes I use the applicator provided, sometimes my fingers (because let’s get real, I’m lazy). I’m not convinced that it’s taking years off my face (that might be slightly unrealistic) but I am seeing a slight improvement. I can definitely tell when I haven’t used it for a couple of days.

I’ve also been adding the Drops of Youth concentrate to my normal moisturiser every morning (I’m already using oil at night – the Lipidol overnight face oil). This really does add to the softness of my skin, and I like the way it soaks in (I find it doesn’t really feel like it’s doing anything when I just put it straight on my face)

What anti-ageing products are you using? HELP ME LOOK YOUNGER.

Please keep us posted. Would love to find a budget friendly anti aging brand that works! I also started noticing signs of aging/loss of firmness in recent months. Thanks!

    1. I really have been noticing a difference, although it is a slight difference. Using the Avene Eye/Lip contour made a bigger difference, so I’m still deciding which one I will continue using. The Drops of Youth is cheaper, so will probably end up being my day-to-day solution.
